| Ramshead Range - 1 Viewing (2 sub-boards)
This contains the highest point in all of Australia. It extends from Dead Horse Gap in the south. The peaks of the range are around 2100m in altitude and the range is generally covered in snow from June through to October.

| Mount Kosciuszko [kozzy-osko]
This is the highest mountain in Australia (not a hard thing to accomplish since the place is almost flat). It can be reached via Charlotte pass. Snowcapped in the warmer months and completed shrouded in white during winter.

| Paddy Rush’s Bogong
Prime grazing land for the men and their cattle during the warmer times. Therefore the cattlemen or women are often scoping the area. It is a plain of grass, elevated. Brumbies are often drawn to the spot, but watch out!

Located south of dead horse ridge, it is amongst the cascades. The grazing here is good and rich and can sustain a large herd through the winter.

| Charlotte Pass
Charlotte Pass is the place where the Kosciuszko Road crosses Kangaroo Ridge. The pretty Charlotte Pass village lies on the eastern side of the pass.

| Northern Plains
To the north lay large open plains. Winter is not kind to this area, but it is possible to survive with a moderate herd during those cold months [which is better than some equines can hope for]. It’s redeeming features include; a rather large outcropping of rocks that one can shelter in the lee of, cutting off the worst of the gales; and a swift stream of small proportions but a strong current preventing it from freezing solid during winter. In the warmer months it is perhaps the most tantalizing image of fresh springy grass, summer blossoms and heavily laden seed pod bushes.
